New Holland Agriculture honored with three awards at the Indian Tractor of the Year Awards 2022
New Delhi,Thursday 28th July 2022: New Holland Agriculture, a brand of CNH Industrial, has bagged three prestigious awards at the third edition of Indian Tractor of the Year (ITOTY) 2022.
The brand has-been awarded in the Best Tractor in 46-50 HP category for the New Holland 3600-2 All Rounder Plus and in the Post-Harvest Solution of the Year for the New Holland Square Baler BC5060. New Holland also won the award for Best CSR Initiative for their innovative project on the prevention of crop stubble/residue burning and straw management. These accolades reaffirm the brand’s prowess in equipment and farming solutions in the country.
The ITOTY Award has been organized annually since 2019 to recognize the innovation and efforts of tractor and farm equipment manufacturers. The awards are focused on manufacturers’ innovation, new products, and features.

Along with tractors, New Holland also offers harvesting solutions such as combine and sugarcane harvesters, and crop residue management solutions. The New Holland Square Baler BC 5060 offers the best performance in terms of productivity per hour. It has also played a major role in sustainable management of crop residue by enabling the use of crop residue (such as paddy straw, wheat straw and cane trash) for generating electricity, ethanol, CBG (compressed bio gas), andraw material for the paper industry.
The brand has also demonstrated an innovative approach to its sustainability endeavors through its various corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. The prevention of crop stubble/residue burning andstraw management solution project, was devised to prevent crop burning and offer farmers an alternative means for crop residue management. It was launched in 2017 at a single village inPunjab in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture.
New Holland hasdonated equipment and provided support to run the CSR project, which has since been extended to a total of 11 villages.
