JMI organises Entrepreneurship Development Programme to celebrate National Startup Day
Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Jamia Millia Islamia(CIE JMI) with its student body, Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell JMI) organised an Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) on the occasion of National Startup day to promote entrepreneurship, startup and innovation culture on the campus and to foster budding entrepreneurs.
The centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE JMI) & Entrepreneurship Cell(E-Cell JMI) aligned with the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra modi who had announced January 16th as the National Startup Day in 2022, conducted the EDP to foster a spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation by involving the startup founders and various budding entrepreneurs on the campus.
The invites included Mr. Javed Ahmad siddiqui, DGM MSME & Mr. Dhruv Yadav, growth head job hai- A naukri platform.
The event flagged off by Mr. Dhruv sharing his journey and motivating the students about how to face the challenges and be at their will to be on the path of entrepreneurship.
Mr. Javed shared with the student entrepreneurs of the campus about various schemes for MSMEs, startups running under the umbrella of SIDBI and Mudra.
The event ended with a robust question & answer session which helped the student get a clear perspective about both entrepreneurship and various schemes of the government.
It was a very fruitful and useful session for the campus entrepreneurs. The centre vows to keep conducting such events to promote and foster the startup and innovation culture in and around the university campus and to develop the Jamia community.
